I don’t know why I’m still writing about this but here’s my life lately

It has been a busy month. No, really. Juggling two jobs is hard, I’ve made myself aware about that even before I entered the second one. But it’s just now that it’s actually sinking in. Both are demanding too much from my 24-hour day. And oops, I forgot to mention I also am a mom.

Being away from home at 7am to 9pm during the weekdays made me feel really guilty, so I had to excuse myself from my second raket on weekends. But normally, that’s my weekdays and I’m also out for blog features at 11am to around 12mn on Saturdays and Sundays.

My Mnemo just turned seven months last week, and honestly, I feel like she’s growing up too fast. I know that’s a normal “mom feeling”, but it’s really different when you experience it first-hand.

Mnemo on her 7th month.

Just recently, she had “baby” problems due to her big switch of diet. She’s on her Enfamil Stage 2 complimented with max of 2 tablespoons of puree or infant’s cereal, but last starting last week, she had to lessen her solid food intake to make sure she (excuse the word) poops well.

But she’s already doing better now. She learns something new every day and witnessing a tiny human being learns more about life is both scary and amazing.

Before turning to another topic, I have to mention this here: LET’S STOP COMPARING WHO’S THE BEST OR BETTER OR WORST AMONG PARENTS, SINGLE PARENTS, WORKING PARENTS, and STAY-AT-HOME PARENTS. We all are having the hard days of our lives, and we all try to focus more on the most amazing part of it.There’s this article on Facebook (I forgot to save the link) which says something like Here are the reasons why stay-at-home moms is harder…blah blah. OKAY, STOP.

I’m not saying this because I am completely the opposite of a stay-at-home mom, but playing two sports is not even easier. SO JUST STOP. I’m so imbyerna.

By the way, I haven’t introduced yet Dana. Dana is one of Mnemo’s stuffed animal. She’s a cute little dinosaur with I think 4-5 inches in height. I carried her around Iloilo on my last vacay in lieu of Mnemo. I’ll share more of her on my Iloilo post.

Following Dana’s foot steps is Vully. I got him from the current Mcdo Happy Meal. I plan to include her in my corporate journey or maybe in my foodie and travel stories as well. He’s actually Vulpix from Pokemon – which is also my spirit animal as far as my barkada is concerned.

Got Vully from Mcdo Nov. 21, 2018.

Vulpix is a fox-like fictional character with six curled tails. I liked him (most commonly a “her”) as he evolves to a nine-tail fox similar to my beloved Miho from the Korean series My Girlfriend Is A Gumiho. I also love his beautiful tails, the flame in his body (which makes him really hot, btw), and he controls fire which is my favorite element.I never thought I’d be a lover of kids’ toys, but having a kid also makes me feel like a kid. Plus, there’s this influence (somehow) coming from an officemate who loves to collect Funko stuff. I might go and collect some, too. Well, if the budget allows.

I’m really excited to let Mnemo and Vully and Dana come when I feature and review food. I’m more excited to carry them to my travels.

Before I forget – happy 100 followers on Zomato! Small win for you, big win for me. I’m not sure when I exactly reached that number, but I finally got there. That account was created years back, just to view the menus and its prices. Who knew I’d be writing reviews? I never thought I’d be writing about food, I wasn’t good enough on taking pictures of them. I mean, a blog isn’t MY blog if it doesn’t have pictures in it. But a few months ago, the category was reborn.

Also, I would like to share: ZOMATO GOLD is now in Manila! Though the membership slots were already sold out, I’m pretty sure they’re opening up more slots again soon. Sign your email addresses up, and be the first to know when they open new slots!

Now everyone’s asking “what’s Zomato Gold and why should I up?”Zomato Gold is a paid subscription program designed for Zomato users who would love to maximize their dining experience. The subscription gives the members access to more than 400 restaurants in Manila where they can enjoy the “Gold” benefits.

Gold members may get one complimentary dish and up to two complimentary drinks at the Gold food partner restaurants once they place an order, subject to terms and conditions. To be honest, I haven’t tried the Golden visit yet due to heavy schedule, but I am more than excited to try.I really don’t know when to stop, huh. I was trying to avoid life updates here, and make it all professional. But apparently, I cannot lose the personal touch. I’m not saying my reviews aren’t but I’m trying to target a more specific niche to grow my blog into, and it seems like I cannot run my way out of the “personal” field.

Anyhoo, how important it is to have a specific blogging niche? Do you think I need to split up my blog to sub-blogs?
