  1. Hi. May I know who is your OB at Makati Med. Worry din kasi ako kasi nababasa ko nasa 190 to 230K CS sa Makati Med. Saan ka humingi ng rates? Thank you!

    1. Hello, Gen! OBs can always update you regarding the rates. I hate to let you feel worried, but if it helps to get yourself ready, it ranges between 70-200k+. Depending on your way of delivery. Mine was 200k+, since I wasn’t able to avail the package, plus, my baby needed phototheraphy for more than a day. Scary but true, things happen unexpectedly and you better get ready.

I know you can make it. Don’t worry too much on the bills. Saka mo na problemahin kapag nandyan na. Focus on your baby. 💕 I know it’s hard to take your mind off things, but you need to. Para din sa health ninyo ni baby. Btw, my OB is Dra. Acebo. You can view her profile on MMC’s website. I will pray for your delivery. Good luck!

  2. Hi! First time mom here. How do you avail the package? Is there any forms needed to fill up by my OB/me and needed to submit ahead of time or just mention to them by the day you we’re confined?

    1. Hi! Congratulations, new mom! There are planning forms that are to be accomplished by you and your OB. It’s usually scheduled more or less 1 month before the expected due date. But you can ask your OB and schedule a planning session ahead of time.

  3. My OB right now is also Dr. Acebo!!:) Did you consider giving birth in St Lukes? How did you come up with the decision of giving birth in MMC?

    1. Hi! yes, I thought of St. Lukes as well. They almost have the same rates, but BGC is a little too far from where I live. I’ve been with MMC since my first prenatal check up, they know my health history, and MMC is a family-trusted hospital. ❤

  4. Hi! Thank you for this article. I am really worried about our expenses now because we initially agreed that my wife will give birth in Chinese Gen. but after our regular check up here in Makati Med yesterday, my wife had a very high BP, she is 33 weeks pregnant. She is staying now in their high risk section. Like you, she’ll be given steroids for 2 straight days. I am freaking out on how much we would cost us but I dont want to risk my wife and baby’s safety in transferring them pa. I hope we only end up around 200+k beyond that Ill be in trouble. Thank you for this article and for sharing it!
